Today was a day when I felt that I had to occasionally pirouette, turn, to make sure not to lose any spectacular landscape. So today I spent a lot of time enjoying my surroundings.
He started with the crossing of N. Fork Mono -Creek. Initially, it seemed like a wet standing in wild water. But I found some rocks that allowed me to keep my feet dry.
Not long after that, Silver Pass Creek, Britt in many small waterfalls from much above the path, just receiving on the path. If it were warmer, I would have liked to see different pools and let the water fall on my head.

Wishing to be warm enough to really get wet
In the Prado on the cataracts, I found my first snow patch. That resulted in the snowman #3 of the path: silver, called by the stream.

When I approached Silver Pass, there was a small lake whose blue/green colors that I found irresistible. I walked to the lake and took a snack.

Little Lake just before the silver pass
Silver Pass’s descent was as remarkable as the climb. There were lakes and streams with mountains of steps as a backdrop.

I finally arrived at Fish Creek, which marked the end of the descent. On the catwalk on the stream, Fish Creek was incredible, in cascade on many rocks with a large water flow.

While following Fish Creek upstream, he kept alternating between roars and calm.
When the path left for Fish Creek in Tully Hole, he spent through Tully Hole was also incredible, surrounded by so many peaks.
Virginia Lake was a wet feet crossing. There were large steps, but there were several inches underwater. After all the wild streams, it seemed strange that Virginia Lake was the only cross of wet feet of the day.

I stopped at Purple Lake at night. It is another lake surrounded by high, staggered and resistant peaks. There were many tent sites on a little road.

I’ve been seeing many of my JMT hikers in southern direction. I feel that this group remains a little more to themselves, without so long on the way to really know others. I have had conversations with some, mainly those about my age.
