Many beautiful things today. This morning I felt that I was still obtaining the same view, which was Mount Ritter and Banner Peak from the high path of Agnew Meadows. The path contoured most of the road on a crest on the average bifurcation of the San Joaquín River. The peaks were on the other side of the valley, so I kept obtaining slightly different views of them.

Another thing on the high path was that there were many currents that crossed him. As was mainly me exchanged, there were tons and tons of wild flowers. And everyone grouped around the currents, so there were several colors all together.

I also saw many very interesting flowers that I had never seen before. I think one was Monk’s hood. Another mint coyote looked vaguely with a group of white/dwelling flowers. But the plant itself seemed very different. Whatever the flowers, I took many photos.
This brush was much more pale/yellow than usual.

I arrived at Lake a thousand islands around 12:30. It was a long time there, but the lake was incredible. It was dark blue, backed by Banner Peak, and really had many small islands. I had lunch there before continuing.

From there, I went to Island Pass to Donohue Pass. There were many waterfalls that I left the path to get a better view.

Finally, approaching Donohue Pass, it was almost 5 pm so I found a flat place and camped for the night. I have a little less than one mile and about 500 feet of climbing to pass through the passage and be in Yosemite.
