I’m sitting in an apartment that has one month left on its lease. Working in a job with a posted resignation notice. I have a one-way plane ticket and attached checked baggage. On my refrigerator hangs a to-do list with tasks that can’t be done right now. The Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) still seems very far away.
