I have been loosening my nightly writings, and I feel that it is related to my enthusiasm for this section of path. They say that Nobo hikers get the blues of Virginia, and I feel that this has been built in me since we crossed Connecticut.
We arrived at approximately 1/3 of the 49th day. We drink coffee in a cafeteria too expensive and disappointing, but it was better than coffee and cold oatmeal. We met another hiker named Frickles (abbreviation for fried pickles) and talked with her about our sandwiches.
We have officially hit the bubble and we have crossed with so many hikers all day. The most notable is Ikea and his smoker. Smokie is a cat that Ikea found in Tennessee that has been linked to him since then.

The next day, we arrive at Pawling, NY. We officially cross Connecticut. There were too many to count, and with all honesty, we took a river road walk to avoid some of the worst. Walk your own walk, as they say. He made our time in this state even more pleasant, and we stayed fresh on such a hot and damp day. I would say it’s a victory!
We had the best path of paths absolutely so far. DC Malaysia’s food was incredible. Nick got a Curry crispy chicken, and got Char Sui. It was a deliciously sweet honey pork on egg noodles, Bok choy and wontons crispy fillings. It was another burner, so we started with Gatorade and had a Thai bubble tea for dessert.

We pass on the train station on the path. You can take a closure train to the city twice a day here!

We got hooked in the city of Pawling to stay in a Lions Club Park. There was a cold outdoor shower and a pavilion we slept. According to the North Caro section, we spend too much on a replacement for CVS. But we need food, so it is. We are not planning to stay in any other hotels or shelters to southern Pennsylvania or further south, so we will eat the cost.

The next morning, we were collected by the little cooler truck. We weren’t even hooked at this point; He stopped and asked if we wanted to climb to the back. Duh !!

We had some target targets to meet some of Nick’s friends before Bear Mountain. I was still feeling the Connecticut residual funk, so we climbed the miles back and removed our meeting up to date.
We fulfilled the Shenondoah mountain. There were electric lines and cell towers everywhere. I was sitting away from sight, feeling a bit sad, when a couple of people approached us and asked me if we were through. This duo of mom and daughter took the ice comes out of her bag for us as Mobile Trail Magic! Absolutely incredible, and this generosity picked me up in a time to feel quite low.

Our camping place for the night was in Canopus Lake next to a state park. We have ice cream and warm showers and we met other incredible nobles.

Our walk to meet with Nick’s friends was 3 miles. We approached a barrado owl, and it didn’t seem to care.

We cross Bear Mt Bridge and the Hudson River. It could be said that the most great part of New York so far. Unfortunately, the zoo that the path is still not open yet, so we missed it. But we had showers and friends waiting for us very soon.

Our day proceeded to catch up with friends, replenishing Walmart and finally sending home some team! I sent my fan, a foam mat, my bowl and cup of coffee, and some clothes. Nick did the same but also launched the stove. We are officially entering our cold soaking era.
We enjoy Kayleight’s company, Dave, and his really sweet 1 year old daughter, Juniper, during the first half of the day. Then we went to Sam, Matt, and his super pretty 9 -month -old daughter, Juliana, the house of hamburgers, corn and zucchini. We sleep in a king bed and hope to rest enough to continue like this!
I will try to return to the car with daily publications. I just needed a little mental health rest. It’s hot and I have been fighting morals if I’m honest. I know I will recover, I just need to rediscover my purpose here. We are next to the roads all the time. The vegetation of the deposit is not the most beautiful and immersive forest in which I have been. I will contact you when I bring me to Earth 😛
