Arsenal will miss the services of midfielder Declan Rice due to a knee injury against Aston Villa at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday.
The Athletics reported hours before kick-off that the defensive midfielder, who was due to fill in at right-back, will miss the top-flight match against Villa, who are third and three points behind the Gunners.
Rice has started all 18 league games for Arsenal this season, scoring twice and assisting three times.
