East Bengal will attempt to reach the final of the Sikkim Gold Cup for only the second time when they play Services in the quarter-finals of the tournament.
The Red and Gold Brigade, which fielded its reserve side, last reached the final in 1997 when it lost 1-2 to All-Nepal FA XI. But the current reserve side, who won the Calcutta Football League, will look to add another feather in their cap.
Standing in the way is Services, which defeated Sikkim Aakraman SC 3-0 to reach the last eight.
The winner of this match will take on I-League 2 champions Diamond Harbour, and a win for East Bengal against Services could see a repeat of the 2025 Durand Cup semi-final.
