Eastern Bengal and Gursimrat Singh Gill have agreed each other to separate, the club said on Thursday.
Gursimrat joined East Bengal in July 2023 in a three-year contract, but he failed to find a consistent place in the start 11 over the years and played only nine times for the red and gold in all matches.
«East Bengal FC and Gursimrat Singh Gill have agreed to separate. We thank Gursimrat for his dedication and services to the club and wish him the best in his future efforts,» East Bengal said in his official statement.
Gursimrat’s younger brother, Prabhsukhan, also plays for East Bengal and is the number 1 keeper for the Kolkata Giant.
