Eastern Bengal Divorce mutually due to forward Diamantakos


Greek attacker Dimitrios Diamantakos has mutually said goodbye to East Bengal, the Indian Super League side announced Monday.

芦Dimitrios Diamantakos and East Bengal FC have decided to separate due to mutual permission. We want to thank Dimi 馃嚞馃嚪 for his services during his stint at the club,禄 the club said in a statement.

Diamantakos, who signed for the Red and Gold in June last year for a two-year-old deal of Kerala Blasters SC, played 32 times for the Kolkata club in all matches, scored 12 goals and took four assists.

At the international level, Diamantakos represented the Senior National Team of Greece and was part of the Greek team that finished second in the UEFA European UEFA U-19 championship 2012.
