Egypt qualify for 2026 FIFA World Cup as Salah scores in 3-0 win against Djibouti

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah bagged a brace as Egypt beat Djibouti 3-0 in Casablanca on Wednesday to qualify for the 2026 World Cup.

Ibrahim Adel claimed the other goal as Egypt became the third African qualifier after Morocco and Tunisia.

Egypt, which has participated in three previous World Cups, will join North African countries Morocco and Tunisia in the 2026 tournament in North America.
