Igor Jesus then scored Botafogo European Champion Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) 1-0 defeated in their group stage match at the FIFA Club World Cup, in the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, United States, Thursday.
It was the first loss for the French side in this tournament, while Botafogo went to the top of the table with successive victories.
The winner of the Copa Libertadores had opened the tournament against Major League football side Seattle Sounders and beat it 2-1, in which Jesus also scored the winner.
The result pushes the Brazilian side to the drive chair to qualify for the knockouts as the best-ranking team in his group.
