FIFA Club World Cup 2025: Manchester City thrashes Juventus 5-2 in Group G Final


Jeremy Doku set up a brilliant representation with a lot of support and some help from the opposition when Manchester City Juventus defeated 5-2 in the decisive match in the group G of the club World Cup on Thursday in Orlando.

«We played well. I am happy with the victory,» said Doku. «Now we are just curious to see who we are going to play.»

As the winner of the Group G, City will remain in Orlando for the quarter-final match on Monday against Group H Runner-Up, Al Hilal. Juventus (2-1-0, 6 points) goes to Miami second in Group G.

Man City continued 2-1 and held the margin during the break, first marked the nine-minute Mark when Doku struck the brakes before the net and found the top right corner.

Teun Koopmeiners equalized the score two minutes later, but that was the last indication of a close struggle.

The victory was the first downright of Man City about Juventus since 1976.
