The 2026 FIFA Series for both men and women will return for its second edition during the upcoming international windows.
The international friendly competition, which first started in 2024, will see a total of 50 national men’s and women’s teams competing in 13 groups in 12 host countries from six continents.
The men’s matches will be held from March 25 to 31, while the women’s tournament will be played from April 9 to 18.
What is the format for FIFA Series 2026?
Despite being a friendly competition, the participating member associations (PMAs) have agreed on different competition formats for the 2026 FIFA Series: semi-finals and a final, or pre-arranged matches.

In the event of a draw, the matches go directly to a penalty shootout and no extra time is played.
Regardless of the format, each group will crown one winner.
