Captain Youri Tielemans scored twice when Belgium rode a 6-0 win over Minnow Liechtenstein in their World Cup qualifying group J in 2026 in the Rheinpark Stadium on Thursday, whereby Vleugel player delivered his first international goal.
Maxim De Cuyper, Arthur the Ceded and Kevin De Bruyne were also on goal for Belgium, which never had unnecessary problems with his host and perhaps won a much larger margin if it had taken his chances.
The victory brings it to seven points of his three qualifications so far and third position in the swimming pool, three points behind leader Wales, but with two games in hand. Liechtenstein is at the bottom with four defeats.

Belgium had to wait 29 minutes for his opener, despite creating countless opportunities when the Cuyper went from the right in the cross of Thomas Meunier, before the Cede crashed a 30 -meter shot against the bar.
It was 1-0 at the break, but within a minute of the restart, Tielemans produced an excellent volley of 25 meters that nestled in the right corner of the net.
Theate got his first international goal when he went home on the back post of a Cuyper Cross, and the neat finish of De Bruyne of Hans Vanaken’s excellent reverse pass brought the score to 4-0.
Tielemans scored his second from the penalty spot at 70 minutes and there was a late goal for Fofana in his second international cap when he ended a well -processed Belgian movement.
