FIFPRO Asia/Oceania insists on the authorities to resolve AIFF-FSDL impasse on Indian Super League

The regional arm of the Asia/Oceania of the Global Football Players’ Union FIFPRO expressed its concern about the continuous impasse with regard to the future of the best domestic competition in India.

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) and the Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL), which runs the Indian Super League, have been in Loggerheads for months and have not agreed after December 2025, so that the competition of this season is suspended indefinitely.

«The lack of clarity for players in the Indian Super League (ISL) season 2025/26, which results from a dispute about the organization and the board of the competition that led to the indefinite suspension, has a significant impact on their livelihood, career and well -being,» FIFPRO Asia/Oceania said in a statement.

«Players are subject to one -sided and illegal suspensions of their employment contracts until further notice. These actions represent a direct violation of the employment rights of the players and cause considerable need,» it added.
