Fleeting moments – The Trek

«I need to write all this!» I turned around and exclaimed Mustard Patty. We had been walking together for about 40 miles and during this time we had been discussing all the problems of the world, emerging new ideas while we bounced.

Later that night, I’m standing outside your store. «Mustaza Patty,» I ask, «remember what I needed to write?»

She couldn’t remember either. We call it hiker brain.

The path has been full of fleeting moments like this. Spontaneously I hugged a tree, it was the right size to hug, and felt a sudden emotion that I cannot describe. The protective emotional barriers that we maintain in our «governmental life» (as MP likes to call it) are broken as our bodies decompose slowly.

Other fleeting moments:

• I climbed a small stream through the weed to catch a drip if the water. When I looked, I saw someone had placed a small fairy figure in a rock above. «That is Gnomio,» said a hiker to pass. «He likes to do that kind of thing. He must be ahead of us.»
• We walk in exposed rock and in the hot sun soaked in sweat. And then we find a great current, in which I could roll, I don’t care how superficial it is. And for a fleeting moment, I’m no longer hot.
• Every time my watch eats a mile, mp and I go «Woohoo!» And then laugh.
• Famous quickly changes your underwear as long as we are not paying attention.

Since the last time I published, I have walked through the Burney Falls State Park. I loved how water leaves the rock instead of envelope.

Then a few days of 20 miles, with quite hot temperatures (90). My sun shirt has stretched to be too big for me for some reason. The smoke became very bad at one point and almost suffocated us in our stores.

MP and I have improved recording our deep thoughts as they arise. We may not have solved all the problems of the world, but we have a good list for all the things we want to do in the city. The city is fleeting. You must make the most of it.
