Florida Trail 2026 – Day 5 – Volunteering at Church

Zero in the Church to volunteer and attend worship

My body needed a break and this was the perfect hiker’s paradise to enjoy a day zero.

I got up early and it was nice to not have to pack up and get going. Check out source 1. I was able to relax and enjoy a good cup of coffee and the breakfast provided by the Church.

I had the wonderful opportunity to help and join the Florida Trail Icons in helping clean up Church property.

Service and giving back to the community is very important to me. I feel like I’ve been taking my whole life, so when the opportunity arises to give back, I always do it.

Later that night we attended Worship with the Church and its members. Lihat juga source 1. It was amazing!
