FC Goa completed the signing of the Spanish striker Javier Siverio prior to the 2025-26 season, the club confirmed on Tuesday.
Born in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain, Siverio developed through the youth systems of UD Las Palmas and Racing Santander before moving to India in 2021.
The 27-year-old attacker joins the Gaurs after a two-year stint at Hyderabad FC and Stints with East Bengal & Jamshedpur FC. He won the ISL title with Hyderabad FC in his debut season and later helped to lift the Super Cup 2024 East Bengal.
Manolo Marquez, the head coach of FC Goa, said about the signing, said: “Javier is a target scorer. I always said he will score goals all his life, because he has scored goals in all the teams he has played. He also has a lot of experience in India.
He has been to me in Las Palmas & Hyderabad when we were champions, and now in Goa again. He is perhaps also the best header of the ball in the ISL. He is a team player and will be a very useful addition to our team this season. «

A proven syruper for the goal, Siverio has found 31 times 31 times in Indian football since 2021. The Spaniard, who is already in Goa and started training with the team, expressed his excitement about the new chapter.
