Former Manchester United and England midfielder Paul Ince has been accused of drink drink, the police said on Monday.
Ince, who earned 53 caps for England and two Premier League titles won at United during his six years, was released on bail and will appear in court on July 18.
«The incident included a Black Range Rover that was linked to the central reservation barrier. Officers attended the scene and arrested a 57-year-old man,» said Cheshire’s police in a statement.
«Paul Ince, from Quarry Road, Neston, has since been accused of a drink.»
Reuters has contacted the representative of Ince for Comment.
After he retired as a player, Ince Milton Keynes Dons led to a League Two title in 2007-08 and succeeded the most recently in the lecture in 2022-23.
