Former India International Aditi Chauhan to guide Mentor Mumbai-Founded Warriorz FC

Former India International Aditi Chauhan, who announced her retirement from football last week, was named Mentor of Warriorz FC – a side that competed in the MFA (Mumbai Football Association) Women’s Premier League.

Earlier known as Rudra FC, the team was taken over by Capri Sports and joins the Warriorz clan. First on the agenda for the Warriorz FC will be to try to claim the coveted MFA Women’s Premier League title and eventually earn promotion to the Indian Women’s League.

«It is great to see that large companies such as Capri Sports invest in women’s football and become ownership to create a better system for players. I look forward to sharing my experience and knowledge, not only with the players, but also the management, in which we work on the holistic growth of all stakeholders. Not only the champion of tomorrow,» Team Mentor said.

“Warriorz FC represents much more than just a football team for Capri Sports -It is a strategic opportunity to create a meaningful, long -term impact on the football ecosystem for women in India. Driving that change starts with the base, where fundamental interventions are the most critical. Gupta, Capri Sports.
