Galatasaray has signed striker Victor Osimhen from the Serie A -side Napoli for 75 million euros ($ 85.74 million), the Super Lig champion announced on Thursday, making the Nigerian the most expensive incoming transfer in Turkish football.
The transfer of Osimhen sealed the previous record of Fenerbahce when the Youssef En-Nesyri from Sevilla signed with a five-year contract for 20 million euros in July last year.
As part of the agreement, 10 percent of the future profit from the next transfer of Osimhen will be paid to SSC Napoli, Galatasaray said.
«A four-year contract has been signed with the player, starting from the 2025-2026 season,» said Galatasaray.

According to the agreement, the 26-year-old receives the net guaranteed salary of 15.0 million euros for each season.
Osimhen also receives a net loyalty bonus of 1.0 million euros per season and 5.0 million euros as image rights payments – compensation for the use of his name, image and similarity in the club’s surf and promotional activities.
Napoli also confirmed the conditions of the deal.
Osimhen was associated with a relocation of Napoli last year, but the Nigeria International had a permanent move on the Deadline Day of the short seasonal transfer window.
He then joined Galatasaray on loan for the 2024-25 season, where he delivered an excellent campaign with 37 goals and eight assists in 41 performances in all competitions, which led to a 25th Turkish competition title.
