The quarter-finals of the German Cup (DFB-Pokal) will feature a blockbuster clash, with the Bundesliga’s top two going head-to-head for a place in the last four, following the draw held at the German Football Association’s headquarters on Sunday.
Leaders Bayern Munich defeated Union Berlin 3-2 in the previous round, while second-placed RB Leipzig defeated 1. FC Magdeburg won 3-1 and thus secured a place in the last eight.
Elsewhere, reigning Pokal champions Bayer Leverkusen will take on St. Pauli, while promotion contenders Hertha will host Berlin in the capital Freiburg.
The quarter-finals will be played on February 3, 4, 10 and 11.
