Haaland hit by Norway Team Bus, gets stitches in face after bizarre incident


Erling Haaland does «the good» after he needs stitches for a cut in his face, sustained in a bizarre incident on international service with Norway, said team captain Martin Odegaard on Monday.

The Star of Manchester City posted a photo on Snapchat on Sunday and showed the facial plessive that he had reportedly sustained when he was hit by a luggage door when he got out of the Norway team bus before he entered a hotel.

«I didn’t see it, but I heard he got a door in the face,» Odegaard was quoted daily by Norwegian Newspaper On the eve of the Norway qualifying match against Moldova in Oslo on Tuesday.

«It didn’t sound good, but it seems that he is doing well. He has a small cut in his face, but apart from that it is fine.»

Haaland wrote on his Snapchat post: «I just got out of a bus door. 3 stitches,» and added a smiling emoji.

In another message on Snapchat, the 24-year-old Haaland wrote next to a photo of a photo of himself who took a selfie from showing the wound under his lip: «Actually it looks pretty good.»

According to NewspaperNorway Coach Stale Solbakken said: «It could have been bad» in reference to the incident in which Haaland was involved.

Solbakken added that there was no danger that Haaland missed the match of Tuesday.

Norway has won all four of his world cup qualifying games in Group I, which also contain Italy and Israel. Norway has 12 points, three more than Israel and six more than Italy, which has a game in hand.

Man City stands for a big competition immediately after the international break, at home at Fierce Local Rival Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday.
