India in AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2026 – Blue Tigresses in group C, full list of opponents

The Indian women’s football team was signed with Japan, Vietnam and Chinese Taipei in Group C for the AFC Asian Cup 2026, established in the town hall of Sydney during the official draw ceremony on Tuesday.

It is the first time that the Blue Tigresses have confirmed their place in the Asian Cup on Merit, with the qualification of Last Edition standard as a host country.

Eight teams booked their tickets for the 21st edition through qualifications that took place from 23 June to 19 July. India sealed his place with a historic victory over Thailand with a higher ranked.

Bangladesh, Chinese Taipei, North Korea, India, Iran, Philippines, Uzbekistan and Vietnam joined hosts Australia, in addition to the top three finishers of the AFC Women’s Asian Cup India 2022-the title defender, China, Second Korea Republic.
