India to organize season 3 of Global Chess League from December 13-24


India will organize the third season of the Global Chess League from 13 to 24 December.

The second edition, a six-team franchise chess tournament, took place last year in London, with Dubai organized the debut edition.

Defending champion Triveni Continental Kings won his second title on the trot after PBG Alaskan Knights in the final last year.

The Global Chess League is the world’s first franchise-based Chess League and a joint venture between Fide and Tech Mahindra.
