India U-20 women’s squad announced for friendlies against Kazakhstan U-19


India Under-20 women’s team head coach Joakim Alexandersson on Thursday announced a 23-member squad that will face Kazakhstan U-19 in two friendly matches during October’s FIFA Women’s International Match Window.

The matches will be played in Shymkent, Kazakhstan, on October 25 and 28, and will be part of India’s preparations for the AFC U-20 Women’s Asian Cup to be held in April 2026.

India qualified for the tournament for the first time in two decades after beating Myanmar in the final qualifying match in August. On the other hand, Kazakhstan will use these matches to prepare for the upcoming UEFA Women’s U-19 Championship qualifying matches.
