A month after the AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2027 campaign came to an agonizing end, the Indian women’s national team will start a new chapter with renewed vigor at the 2026 FIFA Series in Kenya.
The Blue Tigresses will meet the hosts in their opening match in Nairobi on Saturday.
Crispin Chettri, who is once again at the helm as head coach of the Blue Tigresses, stressed: «The idea is to start building for the future now. For the next qualifiers for the 2029 AFC Women’s Asian Cup and the 2031 World Cup qualifiers. We have to start now.»
