The AFC Asian Cup 2026 qualification group C of the Indian men’s football team against Singapore will be played on October 14 in the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda, Goa, the All India Football Federation (AIFF) confirmed on Thursday.
The side of Khalid Jamil is confronted twice with Singapore in the international window of October, with the first game to be played on October 9 at the National Stadium in Kallang, Singapore.
«The teams will travel to Goa after the match for the second stage of the Asian Cup qualifications,» Aiff said in a post on social media.
The game was originally planned to be played in the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru, but was changed due to logistics challenges.

«The Sree Kanteerava Stadium is used for all sports, including athletics. When a football match is planned, we need time to keep the stadium in good condition,» said the president of the Karnataka State Football Association (KSFA).
«This competition is suddenly assigned to us. We are very sad that the competitions are going somewhere else, but it is not under our control.»
Haris added that the KSFA will soon have «a very good stadium in Bengaluru».
India is currently winloos in the third round of qualifications, 0-0 with Bangladesh before he lost 0-1 to Hong Kong, in what the last game of Manolo Marquez was before Jamil took over.
