The applications were cut to 20 coaches – 10 Indians and 10 foreigners – by Subrata Pal, the director of the national team, for the technical committee meeting on July 22.
During the meeting on Tuesday, chaired by IM Vijayan, Jamil, Constantine and Stefan Tarkovic were on the shortlist.
Tarkovic is the only new name in Indian football on the list.
