Kalina Rangers reign supreme in the 4v4 national football championship
Team Kalina Rangers from Kochi created history when they won the first Red Bull Four 2 Score National Championship in Coimbatore on Saturday.
Kalina Rangers, who defeated crowd favorite MRFC A through a sudden-death goal from Tyson Patel in the final, now have the chance to represent India at the World Finals in Canada later this year.
The team consists of a close group of friends, represented by Craig Dsouza, Scott Moraes, Tyson, Clinton Dsouza and Faheez Mohammed.
«We are excited about winning the Red Bull Four 2 Score India Finals after working hard and beating the country’s top teams. But now the focus shifts to the World Finals in Canada. We are going there to win and not just to participate,» said Moraes.
«I played a lot of indoor football at the beginning of my football career. There is more speed involved in this game. Red Bull Four 2 Score provides a great platform for young grassroots stars to showcase their talent. I congratulate Kalinga Rangers for winning their first Red Bull Four 2 Score tournament,» said Indian footballer Vikram Partap Singh, who was present on the occasion.
Red Bull Four 2 Score is played in 4v4 format for 10 minutes, without breaks and goalkeepers. In addition, goals scored in the first and last minutes of the match count as double. A tiebreaker pits one player from each team against each other and trying to outsmart the other to score the winning goal.

Puneeth M shines at ITF Asia U-14 Championships
Puneeth M capped a remarkable campaign at the ITF Asia 14 & Under Development Championship Finals in Colombo by winning the singles championship in the first week of the tournament, before finishing second in the doubles the following week.

As a result, Puneeth has qualified for the 14 & Under Wimbledon tournament and earned a spot on the ITF Asian 14 & Under Touring Team, which will compete across Europe later this year.
In the singles final, Puneeth defeated Him Wong of Hong Kong to clinch the title, a win that helped India finish top of the overall standings. An athlete from Roundglass Tennis Academy, Puneeth currently holds the All-India No. 1 ranking in the AITA Boys Under-14 rankings.
