The activities featured former Liverpool, Manchester United and Newcastle United striker Michael Owen and highlighted the Premier League’s continued commitment to its loyal Indian fan base and to the development of grassroots football in the country.
Former England international Owen added some stardust to the event and was joined by Indian cricketer and Liverpool fan Sanju Samson, adding to the fans’ excitement.
Michael Owen said: «India has been a really important part of the Premier League’s international community work for almost two decades and it was inspiring to see the Coach Development Programme.
