India starts with FIBA U-16 Asia Cup campaign with loss
The National Team of the Indian Heren opened his FIBA Under-16 Asia Cup campaign with a defeat, with a loss of 75-93 against Lebanon in Mongolia.
India will then play Australia in his second group A – -proof value. Bahrain is the other team in this group.
Only the four group winners are directly eligible for the quarterfinals, while the second and third placed teams will participate in the play-offs.
The top four teams in the competition are eligible for the FIBA U-17 World Cup.

Kazuma Clinches Double Crown in India Junior International Grand Prix
Indian pair of aana bisht and Angel Punera produced a lively version to win the title of the girls’ doubles with a upset victory over the fifth Japanese duo Aoi Banno and Yuzu Ueno on the Yonex Sunrise India Junior Grand Prix Badminton Tournament.
The non-sown couple gathered from a match to beat the Japanese duo 21-23, 21-12, 21-17.
There was also joy for the hosts in the mixed Doubles, where Vansh Dev and Shravani Walekar C Lalramsanga and Taarini Suri 21-12, 21-13 surpassed to lift the crown.
In other results, the Japanese Kazuma Kawano ensured a memorable Double, who packs both the singles of the boys and the double titles.
In the singles final of the boys, ninth seed kawano surprised second seed Hyuga Takano 23-21, 18-21, 25-23 in a marathon match that lasted an hour and nine minutes.
The title of the girls singles also went to overcome Japan with Yuzuno Watanabe 10th Seed Yurika Nagafuchi 16-21, 21-13, 21-17 in a full-Japanese top collision.
In the boys’ doubles, Kazuma Kawano worked with Shuji Sawada to get past another Japanese pair of Shunsei Nemoto and Nagi Yoshitsugu 21-15, 21-18.
