Sub-Junior National Boxing C’Ships to start on August 7

The Boxing Federation of India (BFI) organizes the 4th Sub-Junior (U-15) Boys and Girls National Boxing Championships at Galgotias University in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh from 7 to 13 August 2025.

The event will participate in the participation of more than 700 young boxers, including 400 boys and 300 girls between 13 and 14 years old, who will compete in 15 weight categories.

Haryana (Girls) and Chandigarh (Boys) enter this edition as the title defender of the 3rd Sub-Junior Nationals.

Boxers will compete under the technical rules of the world boxing, with three rounds of 1.5 minutes each, with a minute of rest between rounds. A 10-point scoring system must be followed. Medal winners of the REC Combined Talent Hunt 2024 are also eligible, making the competition even more competitive.

India lowers Racketlon World Challengers Cup Challengers

India, led by Vikramaditya Chaula, achieved The Racketlon World Championship Challengs Cup after an exciting victory over Denmark in a dramatic final in Rotterdam.

The road to the title was far from flexible. India fought against the US in the quarterfinals before gaining a tense victory against Germany in the semi -final. Each tie came down to the wire and tested the grit and the resilience of each player on the field.

Chaula’s calm leadership, strategic clarity and match temperament sent India through one of their most memorable racket run runs. Already a gold medal winner of Nations Cup, this will be the second world title of the former Badminton player.

The title -winning team also included Prashant Sen, Nihit Singh, Suhail Kapur, Krishna Kotak, Nidhi Tiwari and Raghav Jatia. Racketlon is a combination sport in which the competitors have to play to play four racket sports: table tennis, badminton, tennis and squash.
