Bengaluru FC reveals a new training facility in the center of Sports Excellence

Bengaluru FC announced on Friday the opening of its ultramodern training center of Sports Excellence, which marks an important milestone in the club’s journey to develop world -class football infrastructure in India.

The blues, who are set up to regroup prior to the 2025-26 campaign, will start with their preparations about what the very first Hybrid Training Pitch in India is, the club said in a statement.

A surface that combines natural grass with synthetic reinforcement to guarantee consistency and sustainability throughout the year, the hybrid pitch is next to a natural grass nine-a-side pitch, and offers the first team and youth teams with varied training environments that replicate competitive conditions.

The center goes much further than playing surfaces, with a fully equipped gymnasium that makes power and conditioning programs possible tailored to the needs of the team, while two specially built changing rooms offer the team with professional matchday and training environments.

Recovery is an equally important focus, with ice cream baths and recovery rooms installed to help players recover after sessions.

Club owner Parth Jindal said: ‘In the midst of all the unrest that Indian Football is located, our efforts to stimulate their development is steadily since the establishment of Bengaluru FC. Our new training facility repeats that intention.

“The national team trained in the facility in the construction of what a successful Cafa Nations Cup outing was, and we hope that the location will also be the preferred training location for Team India in the future.

«The club had no fewer than six players in the Indian team for the Cafa Nations Cup and seven players in the U23 team for the AFC Asian Cup qualifications, and we will continue to contribute to the Nation’s business.» Moreover, the center is designed to promote and belong to a sense of community. A kitchen and pantry serve the dining area, where foods guided meals are planned for players and staff.

Away from the field, a recreational room gives the team the space to relax, while a special meeting room serves as the hub for tactical discussions, video analysis and team briefings.
