Legend Alan Shearer from Newcastle has accused the random striker Alexander Isak of giving «Flames on the Fire» of his row with the Magpies by accusing the Premier League club of breaking promises.
The Sweden International, who was the second highest goal scorer in the Premier League last season, cannot be seen in the pres season or their opening match of the campaign, a scoreless draw in Aston Villa last Saturday.
Liverpool has reportedly rejected a bid of £ 110 million ($ 149 million) for the 25-year-old, with Newcastle holding a British transfer record compensation of a maximum of £ 150 million.
Isak published a statement on Tuesday after he decided not to appear at the Professional Football players’ Association Awards event, even though it was selected in the Premier League 2024-25 team of the year.
«The reality is that promises have been made and the club has known my position for a long time,» said Isak, with the 25-year-old adding: «When promises are broken and trust is lost, the relationship cannot continue.»
But former Newcastle -captain and manager Shearer, speaking against BetfairThe current situation labeled an «absolute mess» when he accused the agent of Isak, Vlado Lemic, of the failure of his client.
«If I were him, I would get his agent in a room and immediately fire him on the spot, because he is the intention to give him the advice to sign that six-year-old deal and there is no get-out clause,» Shearer said.

The ex-England striker added: «I have always said that there are two sides to each story, but my feelings are exactly the same: it has passed in the wrong way.

According to reports, ISAK was promised an improved contract, but Newcastle stopped because of the pressure of complying with the financial sustainability rules.
Newcastle issued a statement at the end of Tuesday and said that although it was saddened by the comments of Isak, it could still welcome him to the team.
«A commitment was never made by a club officer that Alex can leave Newcastle United this summer,» said the statement.
«We want to keep our best players … Alex remains part of our family and will be welcomed when he is ready to join his teammates again.»
Isak has scored 62 goals in 109 performances since he came to Real Sociedad in 2022, including the winner against Liverpool in the League Cup final earlier this year, who ended the 70-year-old waiting of Newcastle to win a domestic trophy.
Liverpool has already spent around £ 300 million to overhaul a team that was thrown back to the Premier League title last season.
But it has also earned back more than £ 200 million in sales and is still on the market for attacking options after the departure of Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez and the tragic death of Diogo Jota.
