ISL 2025-26: BFC hopes to keep the momentum going against NEUFC

Bengaluru FC will look to continue its winning ways when they play NorthEast United FC in an ISL match at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday.

BFC came out in style after an impressive 2-0 win over Sporting Delhi in the opener. The occasion was marked by an injury-time goal from stalwart Sunil Chhetri, who at the age of 41 is still shining.

NEUFC, meanwhile, got off to a forgetful start, losing 0-3 to East Bengal. The visitor could only shoot twice on target and the backline was constantly in trouble.

However, BFC head coach Renedy Singh warned not to take the visitor lightly. The last time the two sides met here, NEUFC managed to hold BFC to a 2-2 draw in an action-packed encounter.

«They will come at us with full force. We have to be ready to fight,» Renedy said.
