Chennaiyin FC will take on Inter Kashi on February 9 in a friendly ahead of the upcoming Indian Super League (ISL) season.
Two-time ISL champions Chennaiyin will take on the league’s newest entrant at the FC Madras Arena, Mahabalipuram, where Inter Kashi is currently undergoing pre-season training.
In the preliminary fixtures announced by the league, Chennaiyin will start their season away to Mumbai City FC on February 19.
The club announced the signings of ISL experienced foreign players Alberto Noguera and Mohammed Ali Bemammer, while Brazilian Elsinho will remain at the club. On Friday it also added two more names: forward Inigo Martin and central defender Eduardo Kau.
The club is coached by Clifford Miranda, who was appointed to the role ahead of the Super Cup, where the club crashed out in the group stages.
Inter Kashi, who achieved promotion last year by winning the I-League, will kick off their season with an away trip to FC Goa on February 15.
