Kerala Blasters FC have confirmed the signing of Guinean defender Oumar Bah for the upcoming season of the Indian Super League (ISL), the club announced on Friday.
The 31-year-old centre-back has been playing in Spain for a number of years, representing clubs such as UE Sant Andreu, EC Granollers, CE L’Hospitalet, Fundació Esportiva Grama and, most recently, UE Vilassar de Mar.
«Oumar adds another defensive option to the squad as we continue our pre-season preparations. We are pleased to welcome him to Kerala Blasters and look forward to having him join the team soon. Our focus will be on helping him settle in well once he joins the group,» said Abhik Chatterjee, CEO of Kerala Blasters FC.
Bah is yet to arrive in Kochi and has not joined the pre-season camp. However, he is expected to join the squad soon.
