Jamie Maclaren’s quadruple goals propelled Mohun Bagan Super Giant to a resounding 5-1 win over Odisha FC in an Indian Super League (ISL) match at the Salt Lake Stadium on Friday.
The opening 45 minutes saw a flurry of goals, with Australian Maclaren completing his first ISL treble, while defender Alberto Rodriguez also managed to get on the scoresheet to confirm the Mariners’ dominance.
While Odisha pulled one back through Rahim Ali, they could not stage a comeback before Maclaren added a fifth goal to extend Bagan’s lead at the top of the standings.
Bagan have a 100 percent record after four matches to start the season, while Odisha remain ninth with two points from three matches ysa4.
