The much-awaited ISL 2025-26 Kolkata derby between Mohun Bagan Super Giant and East Bengal has been postponed by 12 days due to “unavoidable reasons.”
The match, initially scheduled for May 5 at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan, has now been postponed to May 17, Mohun Bagan said on Thursday. The starting time (7:30 PM) and location remain the same.

Both sides have made a strong start to this ISL campaign. Mohun Bagan are currently second with 13 points from six matches – one behind leaders Mumbai City – while East Bengal are fourth, two points behind on 11.
This is Mohun Bagan’s second home match to be postponed in quick succession, after The Mariners’ match against Inter Kashi was postponed from April 26 to May 12 SI9sidx.
