The 2025-26 Indian Super League (ISL) season kicked off after months of delays as defending champions Mohun Bagan Super defeated Kerala Blasters at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata on February 14.
Bagan’s arch-rivals East Bengal currently lead the standings midway through the second round after a 4-1 win over bottom-of-the-table Sporting Club Delhi.
Unlike the previous eleven seasons, the current season will be played in a shortened format, with each team playing each other once in a round-robin home or away format, bringing the total to 91 matches.
Below is what the ISL points table looks like after Mumbai City defeated the Blasters 1-0 in the second round, with Lallianzuala Chhangte scoring the winner.
