East Bengal FC started its 2025-2026 Indian Super League (ISL) season with a dominant 3-0 win over NorthEast United FC at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata on Monday.
Spanish striker Youssef Ezzejjari netted a brace in the second half, while Miguel Figueira found the back of the net in the second minute of extra time as the Red and Gold Brigade took all three points in front of their home fans.
EBFC will host Sporting Club Delhi on February 21, while the Highlanders will travel to Bengaluru FC the next day.
