Today, we both slept until 10. Yesterday’s close call with heat exhaustion had put me through the drainer. Although I have been taking it easy for the week, nothing of that recovery is important in such a high heat. So I’m very happy to be resting today. I know that the heat waves like this will happen again … but I hope it is further to the north by then.
