Jamaica beats Trinidad and Tobago in FIFA World Cup 2026 Concacaf qualifications; Curacao beats Bermuda


Jamaica gave his group ahead by splitting 2-0 in a FIFA World Cup 2026 qualification match on Tuesday, while Curacao defeated Bermuda 3-2.

Jamaica’s Bailey Cadamarteri opened the score in the 36th minute for a Koppas from Greg Leigh, and Jon Russell added an insurance goal in the 57th minute in Kingston.

The «Reggae Boyz» opened with a 4-0 win at Bermuda in Concacaf (North American) World Cup final qualifying and lead group B on six points.

With Regional Powers Canada, Mexico and the United States that Co-Hosten World Cup Co-Hosten, Concacaf qualification was changed, so the final round contained three groups of four with the group winners that continue to the World Cup and two second place teams that reach the inter-confederation play-offs.

Trinidad and Tobago, who opened with a scoreless draw against Curacao, seemed to have scored in the 29th and 63rd minutes, but VideoView did not control Levi Garcia every time.

Jamaica improved to 21-15 with 12 drawn in the rivalry of all time.

In the other group B match, host Curacao Bermuda defeated 3-2 when Tyrese Noslin delivered the winner in the 75th minute of a pass by Tahith Chong and finished second in the group on four points.

Chong, a midfielder for the English Sheffield United, opened the score in the 14th minute and extended the Curacao lead in the 26th minute.

Bermuda, which defeated 4-0 in his only earlier match in 1978, was equated with the goal of Kane Crichlow in the 35th minute of a crossing pass by Ne-Jai Tucker and a goal from Djair Parfitt-Williams in the 42nd minute of a Bal by Dante Leverock.

In later group C competitions, Haiti was in Costa Rica and visited Nicaragua Honduras.
