Star German midfielder Jamal Musiala was only injured 25 minutes after entering the World Cup match on Friday evening for Bayern Munich and was replaced by the national team veteran Thomas Müller in the 82nd minute.
Musiala met Boca Juniors in the 57th minute. The nature of his injury was not immediately known.

The 22-year-old had recovered from a torn hamstring during the Bundesliga season.
Musiala had not played since April and returned to Bayern training on 7 May. Bayern and German national team coach Julian Nagelsmann decided not to call him the team during the semi -finals of the UEFA Nations League at the end of May.
