Jamshedpur FC on Friday announced that it has extended the contract of Goan winger Vincy Barretto.
During the Durand Cup, the 25-year-old registered two assists and a goal and was one of the standout players for JFC in the tournament.
Before joining the Men of Steel, Vincy had a spell at some of India’s top clubs. He played a key role in Gokulam Kerala FC’s first win in the I-League in 2020-21, followed by two successful spells in the Indian Super League (ISL).
The first was with Kerala Blasters, where he made 17 appearances and scored two goals on his way to a second-place finish in the 2021-2022 season. He then joined Chennaiyin FC, where he made 52 appearances in the ISL, scoring five goals between 2022 and 2025.
Reflecting on his extension, Vincy Barretto said: «I am very happy to continue my journey with Jamshedpur FC. The last two months have been special; the support from the fans, the energy within the squad and the confidence of the coach have all motivated me. I am keen to continue to improve, contribute with goals and assists and give everything for the club.»
