Jamshedpur FC announced on Sunday a two-year contract extension for Pronay Halder, with the midfielder committed to the Men of Steel until the end of the 2026/27 season.
The experienced midfielder, who first joined Jamshedpur in the Indian Super League Shield-winning season, was a crucial presence in the center of the park. This is his second contract extension with the club, following his previous one-year extension announced last year.
Pronay, a graduate of the Tata Football Academy, had a good season last year when he returned from injury and guided the team to the ISL semi-finals.
Expressing his joy at continuing his journey with Jamshedpur, Pronay said: «I am very happy to continue with Jamshedpur FC. This club has given me a lot of confidence and responsibility, and I feel at home here. We have built a strong core under the new set-up, and my focus now is on helping the team fight for trophies and make the fans proud. The support of the people of Jamshedpur is always was special to me.»

The club also announced that Kolhan-born midfielder and Santosh Trophy winner Samir Murmu has extended his contract with the club after his debut season with Jamshedpur FC last season.
The 24-year-old from Bhagaband village near Ghatsila rose to prominence with his standout performance in the 2023-24 Santosh Trophy where he was named Player of the Tournament after scoring 10 goals in 13 matches for Jharkhand.
Speaking about his extension, Samir said: «Playing for Jamshedpur FC is a dream that I live every day. This club represents my home and I feel proud every time I wear the jersey. My goal is to work harder, improve every training and make the people of Jharkhand proud. The fans here are passionate and I want to give them more moments to celebrate.»
