Japan started his title defense at the Eaff E-1 football championship with an extensive 6-1 win against Hong Kong in the Yongin Mireu Stadium in South Korea on Tuesday.
The Japanese striker Ryo Germain, who made his senior team debut, scored four goals in 22 minutes to hand over his side command of the meeting.
The 23-year-old opened the Blue Samurai account in the 4th minute and scored in the 10th, 22nd and 26th minute of the game.

Hong Kong was 0-5 behind the break with midfielder Sho Inagaki who scored the other goal.
In the second half, Hong Kong showed a determined performance and went to the score sheet via striker Matt Orr in the 59th minute. However, that was just a comfort.
In the last minute of the added time, replacement Sota Nakamura made it six for the title defender.
