Arsenal -attacker Kai Havertz is said to have sustained a knee injury and will be set aside for a non -specific period.
According to the New York TimesHavertz was not part of the club’s open training session on Wednesday and his injury is in the early stages of the prognosis.
Havertz, who played as a regular center of Arsenal last season, was replaced this season by new signing Viktor Gyokeres, who came to the club this summer for a £ 55 million from Sporting CP.
However, he came from the bank for 30 minutes against Manchester United, when his party opened the new Premier League season with a 1-0 win.
The 26-year-old German came to Arsenal from Chelsea in the summer of 2023 and played 88 times for the Gunners and scored 28 times. Arsenal still has to give a confirmation about the return date of the player.
The side of Mikel Arteta, who finished second in the competition last season, has desperately looked at a consistent goal option and is reportedly looking for more signing sessions after Gyokees to strengthen his attack.
