NBA star Kevin Durant has bought a minority stake in the Champions League winner Paris Saint-Germain, the French club said on Friday.
Qatar Sports Investments, the majority shareholder of PSG, signed an investment and strategic partnership agreement with Durant, a double NBA champion, the club said in a statement
The 36-year-old Phoenix Suns Forward is one of the many American athletes in particular to invest NBA and NFL stars in European football (via Direct Club Interests, via Consortia).
NBA -Superster LeBron James, in 2011, acquired a minority stake in Liverpool FC, while the legendary Quarterback Tom Brady became minority owner of Birmingham City in August 2023.
