Tottenham forward Randal Kolo Muani will take part in Wednesday’s Champions League match at Eintracht Frankfurt despite being involved in what manager Thomas Frank described as a «minor» car accident.
Photos circulated on social media on Tuesday showing Kolo Muani, a French international and Tottenham teammate, Wilson Odobert standing next to a black Ferrari that had suffered damage.
They had taken part in an open training session at the club’s practice facility earlier in the day.
Odobert was reportedly in his own car, but stopped to help Kolo Muani, and they traveled to Germany together.
Frank said at a press conference on Tuesday evening that Kolo Muani was doing ‘fine’. «It was a tire that blew up,» Frank said, «so they’re a little delayed, but they’ll land later tonight.»
Frank said the incident occurred as the players were on their way to the airport. “I fully expect both to be available (against Eintracht),” he said.
